# Strange output

 * I seem to be having an issue with an AI form output that starts out fine, but
   then eventually turns into complete gibberish. At this time, it appears to be
   only with xAI grok 4.5, whether I choose the model directly from xAI or through
   Openrouter.
 * I am assuming this is probably an xAI issue, but I cannot seem to replicate it
   using xAI directly.
 * Any thoughts?
 * **Example output:** It will start off 4 or paragraphs of normalcy then all of
   a sudden start displaying stuff like this:

 * I checked and it was set to 1.2. I reset to 1 and will test tomorrow. I marked
   as resolved for now.

 * The issue appears to be resolved, thank you!
 * If you read this, what exactly does the temperature setting do that would cause
   that issue? The documentation states it “Controls response variation”, but not
   much else.
 * How much can it really be adjusted without causing an issue? If changing from
   1 to 1.2 is enough to cause an issue, is there a point to using it at all?
