# Strange Image Uploader Issues

 * Regardless of which theme I use AND whether the plugins are active or not: the
   media up-loader is acting crazy.
    - The upload dialog appears correctly and allows for both drag-an-drop OR browser
      functionality.
    - After the upload I am redirected properly to the next page which is where 
      I can add the “Title”, “Alt Text” and so on. The dialog shows the URL (which,
      when pinged, doesn’t produce the image.) AND its dimensions. BUT the image
      itself doesn’t appear in its spot in top-left of the dialog. –Curiously though,
      if you click “Edit Image” the uploaded image appears properly in the “Edit
      Image” dialog.
 * What do I do to proceed?

 * Connected via FTP and noticed that WordPress isn’t writing the proper directories
   in the “Uploads” folder:
 * I have uploaded a handful of images but there isn’t an “uploads/2012/04” directory
   written to the server.
 * Does this shed any light?
