Strange Front Page problem

Hi,
Bear with me while I try and describe the strange problem i’m having. So, when i go to my front page on Google Chrome I usually see options at the top of the page, below the Chrome options of Apps, Suggested Sites etc, that allow me to enter the WP admin of my blog. However for the past week I have not been getting that option even though I know I am logged in. What I have to do to enter my blog is go to wordpress.com (and I can see i’m logged in) and then click on the appropriate options to get to WP Admin options.
Any ideas?
