Support » Plugin: Relevanssi - A Better Search » Strange encoding when space included before or after a word in search

  • When searching a term with a space before or after, I get strange encoding issues showing up in the results (i.e ). My search URL without the space is mydomain.com/?s=term, while with a space its mydomain.com/?s=term+

I believe I had read in another support post that Relevanssi strips spaces out of the search. But it doesn’t look like that’s happening. Any thoughts on what I may be able to do to fix this?

    Thanks so much!

Hmm, I think I might have removed the trimming of spaces recently, when it was causing problems with something else. Looks like it might have unpleasant consequences this way too. However, I can’t reproduce the encoding error on my site. Could you show me a screenshot of this in action?
