    Hey there,

I've been using Better WP Security and I enjoy the features very much so far, however this morning I got a strange email:

    From: XPIENT [mailto:webmaster@xpient.com]
    Sent: Friday, May 03, 2013 8:21 AM
    To: Website Registration
Subject: [http://new.xpient.com] WordPress File Change Warning Friday, May 3rd, 2013 at 8:21 am UTC

A file (or files) on your site at http://new.xpient.com have been changed. Please review the report below to verify changes are not the result of a compromise.

There was no report below. Also when I logged into my wordpress dashboard and looked at the Better WP Security logs there were no file changes there either.

Do you know why this would happen? I want to keep using this plugin, but I can't have a false alarm every morning.

    Hi there,

I had the same behavior :
The email alert without any report and an empty modified files list.
When i go checking files modification datetimes by FTP, no modification appear (but i could make a mistake, : I didn't check all the files, only those which where attacked before).

    Thank you for any help.

Hi, i had the same behavior too.

But i still didn't found any files get changes at there. I have search it.

Also i still get a lot of 404 notification too.

Maybe somebody else have found to solve this problem.

I've seen the same problem. However, it will send one e-mail that's blank, and then another one w/a list of changed files. What they wind up being are those that I have changed the previous day, like, installing another plugin, or uploading graphics for a new post, etc. Moreover, the BWPS is no longer showing on the Dashboard. I have to access it in Plugins, Settings. AND, sometimes now it's telling me that I don't have permission to change anything, even though I'm the only person working on this site. Too much drama for me. It was working fine, then all of a sudden, KAPUT. Has anyone else had these additional issues? Was there an upgrade recently?
