    I like this theme.

    First it worked out fine,
My home page had one post, which I also linked to a page, called work.
Inside this post, and page, I have a gallery that shows my work.

Now, In my search to find a way to have a posts inside my post, I believe I have done something terribly wrong.

The circle from my post changed into a square ( and I can’t find what I ever changed that could have caused this).
My widget, with the cross in the circle, suddenly changed in just a cross.
And inside the post, every image I have keeps showing above the gallery with the images I actually want to show.
First these problems only showed in firefox, but it kept working fine in chrome. Now suddenly it’s like this in every browser.

Could you provide a link to the issue?

Thank you for responding this quick!

    This is the link

Another issue is that my comments are turned off, yet they are suddenly there again.

Which files have you modified in general?

At first some lay out changes, font sizes, adding menu’s..
I looked for answers in this forum, added css manager, no problems.

Last time I did mess around with permalinks while I wanted to go to the same page when clicked on the post as when clicked on the page ‘Work ( I should tell you (and you probably noticed) this is my first site and first time working with wordpress).

I also tried to have a post inside a post. In the support someone created circles, I believe he created them under categories, saying that to get this you have to add
    in the settings,
added this at some places in the editor, but also removed it again. Maybe something went wrong there?

As I’m unsure which files you’ve modified, can you create a Child Theme and then transfer your modifications to there?

Any modified PHP file apart from functions.php can be just copied and pasted into your Child Theme directory.

Modifications made to the style.css file need to be copied individually to the Child Theme style.css file. This Diffchecker (spot-the-difference tool) page shows Spun’s original style.css file on the left compared to your style.css file on the right: . Find the difference and copy the styles into your Child Theme style.css file.

By the way I’m referring to the issue you raised in your first post.

Thank you for helping me out.
This diffchecker is great, I tried to do this by looking at the css of caroline’s theme demo site and comparing it to my css.

I have to go to work, but I’ll try creating a child theme and copy my modifications in there as soon as I can!

I’ll let you know how it worked out.

    Thanks again!

    Hi Andrew,

I couldn’t find any relevant changes inside the css and was tired of the hours spend searching what went wrong. I pasted the original css of the spun theme in the editor en changed all the settings to how I wanted them again.
I guess their was something wrong in my css code, didn’t find out what exactly but resetting the code did the trick.

    thanks for your time
