# Strange Category Problem

 * I have just noticed that one of my categories is inaccessible. In the write page
   in the category list it is slightly greyed out and I cannot check the box. I 
   can highlight it as normal, but cannot click it.
 * I thought maybe because it is a parent category, but other parents are fine still.
 * What can be the problem please?

 * I’ve noticed exactly the same thing, and came here hoping for a solution. I’m
   using the performancing add-on for Firefox for most of my posts. When I post 
   that way, I have no trouble selecting the category.
 * But when I log into my WordPress site and try to post via the “Write” link, one
   category is always unselectable.
