Support » Themes and Templates » Strange bug in my code / IE

  • Hi,
I’ve been looking around to find usefull blogging software and finally opted for WordPress. While I’m still tinkering with the layout I have a developement version running at http://oomens.nl.eu.org
I nearly fully revised the wp-layout.css file, and also tinkered with the templates via the backend. The footer, or credit, section shows up nicely in FireFox, but on the comments page (and only on the comments page, everything appears fine on the “normal” page) and in Internet Explorer only, this section is much larger than it is supposed to be, it changes size upon scrolling of the page, and hoovering over the link, and misses the bottom-top property I have set.
If you check the HTML you can see that I’ve been trying around with different ways of laying out this section at the bottom, to see if I could fix the problem, but to no avail. Therefore, the HTML might look different from what you are used to for this section.
I recap that this only happen in Internet Explorer. The code is still XHTML-transitional compliant, but I haven’t checked the compatibility of the CSS-code.
Does somebody have an idea of why it happens, and how I can solve this? Maybe somebody had the same issue when customising the layout?
    Cheers,
    Sophist
