Both my blogs are running Version 2.1. Both are hosted by the same company with the same hosting package. One works fine, the other…

If you look at the second screen shot you’ll see what the problem is. Instead of the nicely formated Admin Panel, it’s unformatted. Almost as if it can’t access Admin Panel CSS. But the admin panel css file is there. I’ve tried reinstalling it 3 times now and it always ends up with the same result.

What it should look like (from my blog that works):

    What it does look like:

    http://wordonthestreets.tv/wordpress/wp-login.php

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hmm. The bottom one links to the css file like this:

    ../wordpress/http://wordonthestreets.tv/wordpress/wp-admin/wp-admin.css?version=2.1

That isn’t going to work, as it says that the “http” part of the URL is inside your wordpress directory.

As well, I’m not sure why the “?version=2.1” is at the end of the URL, as I believe that browsers need to see the .css extension as the last part of the file name (that is, something.css).

Fix those issues and it should work fine.

Thanks Diane! Everything is good now.
