I will be adding ecommerce functionality to my multisite so I have a store, and it will probably be woo commerce as I am familiar with it. I have 2 ways to set it up. What out of these 2 would be best.
1. Have the ecommerce installed on my multisite as normal and only activate it for myself (I would much prefer this)- if I did this, what is the best way to hide the plugin from all users – I know one way how to hide this – I have a mu-plugin that controls the admin css so I could activate the plugin my self then use the admin css to display:none; to the plugin (and hope no one activates this plugin within a minute of me doing this).
Or create a new wordpress installation and just use this for the eccomerce store ( this installation means that users will have to sign in to use my multisite and my store which is a bit of a pain as my store will need people to sign in before ordering. Also this new wordpress installation will probably be another multisite as I will be exploring a plugin that turns an ecommerce store into a multi store.
Thanks in advance
