Hi,
Did you click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page?
If that does not work, try wiping out settings in the “Advance Tools” tab and setup everything again.
Thanks,
Bryle
Yes I did everything you mentioned. Its still 1,4 GB memory space, its not changing
Can you take a screenshot of where you are seeing this memory statistic?
sorry its not working to put a screenshot in here. Do you have an email adress?
Can you upload the screenshot using this: https://snipboard.io
Unfortunately due to WP rules we are not allowed to ask you to send anything to our email.
Its not working “File uploading is diabled”… 🙁 Its saying:
“Existing backups 2
Update server space used by UpdraftPlus: 1.4 GB”
And when I click on refresh or delete the settings completely, this number still remains, although I have only 2 backups saved

Hi,
After uploading a backup file or removing a backup click the “rescan remote/local storage” link to update the backup list.
Thanks,
Bryle
Like i already told you: it’s NOT changing, doesnt matter if a new file comes or i delete or whatever, it’s stays the same, always 1,4 GB

Hi,
Do you have any caching plugin installed? Can you temporarily deactivate and see if that fixes the issue?
Thanks,
Bryle
Yes. WP-Optimize. The caching plugin or updraft plus plugin?
Hi,
In the Settings >> Show expert settings, do you have the option to “delete local backups” checked?
yes! Its also checked! What can I do? Delete the plugin?
Hi,
If delete local backups is checked then the backups are not being stored on your server therefore the amount of space used by UpraftPlus should not change.
So I have to uncheck the box to make it change? It doesn’t matter how many backups I have saved, it remains 1.4 GB, now even 1.5 GB so it’s getting more and more
If you have the option to “delete local backups” option checked and you are uploading your backup to some remote storage then the amount of space used by UpdraftPlus should remain constant (nothing is being added or removed from your server aside from a tiny log file which will be removed if you have retention limits set)
If you disable this option and remove any retention limits that you have set in the settings tab, the backups should start accumulating on your server, taking up more space.
