Images are placed in the wp-content/uploads folder and organized by year and month.
You can manage them from that folder or by locating the User within the admin area of your site and scrolling to the Avatar section.
Your members can upload a .png or .jpg
Awesome, however is not visible on the usual multimedia space… Is it something that you will integrate for better management?
For last, if the user adds new photos… The previous gets deleted from the system?

We don’t have any current plans to make changes but you are welcome to track updates via GitHub.
If a user adds a new photo the previously uploaded image will be overwritten. Users can also check the “Delete local avatar” box to remove the current file from the server.
