Stopped working in WP lower 5.0

    Hi there,
    in your description details the system requirements for MetaSlider 3.27.7 are WP 3.5 or higher.
    But it stopped working in WP 4.9.20 with a fatal error which breaks the whole site.
    The error depends on the wp_set_script_translations() function.
    The script with this function is not existing.
    As far as I know this is introduced with WP 5.0
    So you should change your requirements …

    For me it is really bad because I use ClassicPress and I have the info that MetaSlider is supporting CP…
    If there would be a way to fix that I would be very happy because I really like your plugin.
    I tested the plugin with WP 4.9.20 and CP 1.4.2

    Thanks for reporting this. Sorry, the latest version of MetaSlider had to be updated so that users can successfully translate the plugin on WordPress 6 and above.

    We’ll look into ways to also maintain support for WordPress 4.9 but we can’t make any promises on that. If it can’t be done, we’ll update the minimum WordPress Version on this plugin listing.

    OK, we’re releasing 3.27.8 which should work on 4.9.

    Going forward, we’ll do our best to maintain compatibility with versions 4.9 and earlier, but things may start to break, particularly around translations. Version 4.9 is nearly 5 years old now and really starting to show its age.
