    Hi,

I checked some website and they are all fine. Maybe you could re-install the plugin?

As long as the Analytics script is above the plugin script on the page it should work. Whether you use WordPress or not.

Hope re-installing the plugin works for you.

Yeah Analytics script is above, I use Yoast’s analytics and everything was working great for me until I updated to wordpress 4.5 this morning. I’m sure I checked everything, even cleared all cache and everything, I did try to reinstall it, I removed it, installed it, changed the settings and then put them back and it’s just not working.

I am 99% sure that it is because of the wordpress update because it stopped working on 4 different websites…this morning…

Could it be google analytics itself? maybe they have issues with reading the time events? I do have other plugins (sharing) that successfully send share button events.. the only thing that’s not working are the time events and/or scroll events.

My guess is that it could be Google Analytics itself because right just now it randomly showed 1 single time event and then it stopped showing any events now again..
Maybe they’re testing something I don’t know, but I do believe this is somehow related to updating to the latest WordPress. probably some bad tracking code event? I am trying to guess here 🙂

An example website so you can see the code is this http://www.nutripedia.gr

Okay one quick reply on this, it just started working back again without me doing any changes, it’s definitely Google Analytics itself. I will keep on watching this and let you know if that was it and then mark this topic as resolved 🙂

It’s working and then not working, on one site it’s not working at all, on an other site it’s working periodically. It’s probably Google’s issue.
Thanks for taking the time replying on this, apparently it wasn’t the plugin’s fault. I’m marking this topic as resolved, well I do hope it WILL be resolved, I’m convinced that it’s Google not reading the events the right way or they’re just testing something.
    Peace 🙂

As far as I can see the Analytics code and plugin are installed OK on the website above. What I’m not sure about is the PageSpeed script tags. The PageSpeed Service was turned off on August 3rd, 2015 and I don’t know if it can/will affect your scripts in any way.
