This was working fine for a couple of weeks, then it just stopped tweeting. Everything's set up the same, nothing has changed. Can only think there's some incompatibility in the plugin with a recent update of WordPress. Unless someone knows something different.

    Any ideas @flavmartins ?

Tried hitting manual 'Tweet Now!' button, didn't work either. Got an error at top of my Tweetily admin screen, as follows:

Tweet 0 : OOPS!!! problem with your URL shortning service. Some signs of error

But I'm not using any URL shortening service that I'm aware of. Or none that I've changed recently. Tweetily was working fine, then it stopped working.

Could we have suggestions how to fix please. Thanks.

Same here last automatic post was 3 days ago.
When using the button "post now" the following error occurs:

Warning: fopen(/home/...../domains/......nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tweetily-tweet-wordpress-posts-automatically/log.txt) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/...../domains/...nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tweetily-tweet-wordpress-posts-automatically/Include/top-debug.php on line 34

    4 times....
Do i need to find an other plugin?

It's looking that way. If the author can't be bothered to respond, there's no support, so everything falls over. I'm gonna look see what else is available. Shame as it was an okay plugin. Will probably leave a low rating for above reasons.

Hi Sogwac, my findings are in this the posts I made in this thread. Tweetily has just stopped working, for no reason. It was working for two weeks, then it stopped. I didn't change the settings or anything. Do you know why it might have stopped, and how I might get it working again?

Okay Sogwac, does that mean I have to uninstaLl 'Tweetily' and install 'Tweet My Post' plugin instead? Is that what you're saying?

I just deactivated it We shouldcontinue this off line here ... go to my web site & email me from there [ deleted ]

  13. @Sogwac? Please do not solicit people to contact you off of the forums. That's something that is actively discouraged here.

Note that I am not accusing you of any ill will. But really, please do not do that again.

I apologise. I felt that discussions about a different plugin shouldn't be continued in this area.

No worries. Tweetily just started working again for some reason. It's resumed automatically tweeting posts at the times I set it to. No idea why it stopped then started again. Hopefully it doesn't go on the blink again and all's well that ends well. :-)

I will keep using tweet my post for now and keep tweetily as a backup.
The oe thing I like about TMP is that the author can tweet at the time of posting and I don't have to stop tweetitly repeatedly tweeting the same post.
