Stopped working

This used to be a 5-star plugin. But it stopped working after the newest update and lost many of its features. I am uninstalling it from all my sites and replacing with another much better cache plugin.

@tom I apologize for the rocky update! We released the first Quick Cache update in over two years and there were a few unexpected issues with that update, however we addressed those issues immediately in follow-up releases.

The latest version (v131206) properly checks for compatibility before activating itself and includes many bug fixes and improvements. See http://wordpress.org/plugins/quick-cache/changelog/

We did move a few features to a Pro version of the plugin, but the free version still contains all of the core features that most site owners need from a caching plugin. This latest version has also been updated to fully support the latest version of WordPress.

If you still have issues with the latest release, please open a support thread or file a bug report.

I will also be eliminating this from any of my sites. It used to be my top cache recommend. It quietly worked without incident, and was simpler to set up than others.

Now I’m getting errors and 404’s. There are other cache options, and I will be pursuing them instead.

I wonder if this is another example of a company buy-out causing the product to jump the shark. I’ve seen that in themes and plugins. Oh, well, a sign of the times. Yay, monetization!

Hey, thanks for the previous good product, anyway!
