Hi
Can you let me know the following:
* How are you creating the custom post type
* How are you linking the custom post type to the form in gravity forms
Thanks
Also which version of the plugin did you have and which version did you update to?
Thanks for getting back to me!
The custom post type was created through the Custom Post Type UI plugin.
The post is being created through the title field of a GF Multipage form.
I upgraded from 1.22 to 1.23
I did have the GF Registration add-on installed at one point, which I believe conflicts with AFUploader.
In the meantime, I reinstalled a backup from a few days ago and everything is working again.
I don’t see a problem with the standard post creation function of Gravity Forms.
To be honest there are no changes between 1.22 or 1.23 which could cause any issues, the changes are with the plugin options area and i added a few actions.
How are you linking the post fields in gravity forms with the custom post type.
I ask this as Gravity forms creates posts by default are you using a plugin to allow you to create custom post type fields in your form?
Thanks for your quick response Ben,
I’m using the Advanced Custom Fields plugin for most of the custom fields and calling them through the GF custom post field in the form, if that makes sense.
I’m building custom templates for almost everything and it’s easier to build them with ACF.
Sometime today (PST) I’ll try updating again. It very well could be a conflict with another plugin.
Hi
Tell you what, can we take this offline so i can maybe get access to your site for som debugging?

Hi David
Can confirm that there is nothing wrong with the plugin.
I created a test form ”bentest” with a custom post title field and the uploader.
I then uploaded a few images which were attached to the custom post as expected (see attached images).
Look at the two test images i uploaded in media library and you can see they are attached to my test custom post.
There are an alarming number of php errors on your site, in particular the gravity forms form edit view. This is not working as intended as you can’t scroll down the right hand toolbar. Gravity forms makes heavy use of javascript for its user interface and any conflict or issues can cause very serious problems with a form.
I think you first task would be to remove all those php errors as who know what issues they are causing.
That said i looked into the code of my plugin and confirmed that it is attaching images as designed.
Once you have removed the plugins causing all those errors you can test again, if the problem persists you may need to rebuild that form as well.
Thanks
Ben
Also good practice would be to setup a vanilla install of wordpress, install only gforms, custom post type plugins and the uploader plugin.
Export your form from the current site and import to the vanilla site and give it a test. if it works you know that the current site is conflicting.
Issues other then Ben’s great plugin were causing the problem.
Thanks Ben
Hi I have the same issue but I tried disabling all other plugins but the problem is still there. images are uploaded to prso-pluploader-tmp. They are not attaches to posts and they’re not in the media library.
Thanks in advance
did you disable all plugins and your current theme and try it with a base wordpress theme such as 2014/2015?
Yes all plugins are disabled except Gravityforms and your plugin (both latest version) and 2015 is runing
Do you have wp debug set to true and if so do you get any php errors on the screen or an error.log file in the adv uploader plugin folder?
Just enabled Debug and yes I’m getting an error. Can I send you a PM with the error message? don’t want to publish in public
