  • It was great before the update.
    But is useless now, could not enter any data, no keyword, no description, social share options are unavailable.
    I was using it only weeks and this was the first upgrade, so maybe it would be useful if you never upgrade to the latest version.

    We are sorry to hear you’re having problems with the latest version of Yoast SEO. In order to better assist you, please open a new topic in the plugin forum with the following information:

    • Make sure you’re running the latest version of Yoast SEO 8.0 and WordPress 4.9.8
    • Provide a screenshot of what the Yoast metabox look like in the post edit screen
    • Check if the problem persists when all non-Yoast plugins are deactivated and your theme is on Twenty Seventeen. If you are unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we wrote a step by step guide that will walk you through the process. You can find it here: How to Check For Plugin Conflicts
    • Check if there are any JavaScript errors in the browser’s console. This KB article explains how to do so.

    thank you for your response.
    But everything that you recommend, others with the same problems already did (I checked and read the forum), so we both know, that I could not find any new errors.
    And it would be waste of time to do all this hard work.

    Unfortunately, plugins can stop working for multiple reasons, that’s why we asked you to confirm your website was up-to-date and check whether the problem was still the same with all non-Yoast deactivated. We understand this can be quite of work, but it’s the first step to troubleshoot conflicts. If you’re experiencing exactly the same issue as other users, feel free to make a comment to the related topic with as much information as possible about the problem you’ve encountered and describe under what circumstances it occurs. This will help our support agents to reproduce the problem and find a solution.
