Stop wordpress auto creating image titles?

    I’d like to stop wordpress from making titles for images. I’d like it to leave them blank. I thought this plugin could help but if I uncheck the option to make titles it continues to make them.

    Thanks for checking out the plugin.

    I just tested this with WordPress 5.2.1 and Gutenberg editor and couldn’t replicate.

    What is the behaviour when the plugin is disabled? If you are using the classic editor, WordPress by itself adds Image Titles and the plugin is not designed to prevent that. It just doesn’t attempt to modify it.
