Stop Spammers from Accessing Site

    My webhost is complaining about a spam attack on my blog using resources and so they took my site down.

    I am using Akismet and SK2. Luckily, the comments aren’t really getting through to my blog, but that doesn’t stop the spammers from using my server resources.

    Is there any way to stop them BEFORE they even hit my site?
