# Stop shortcode from displaying certain attributes

 * Is there a default solution to stopping a specific shortcode attribute from displaying?
   For example [shortcode-name attribute1=”don-not-display” attribute2=”display”
   attribute3=”display”]
    Any help towards a solution is greatly appreciated. Thanks
   you?

 * This is a custom short code that was created by a third party. It generate a 
   search form with prepopulated criteria.

 * Ok, then you’ll have to ask the folks who created it. Such a thing needs to be
   built into the shortcode, there are no universal controls for shortcodes.
