Hi @paulus244,
Thanks for your message.
You can use the ‘Post Updated’ notification for this. The Post Scheduled notification shouldn’t be triggered when you just update the post though. If this is the case, it may be worth investigating a possible plugin conflict.
Unfortunately that is the case. But I cant rond Amy problems with other plug-ins.

Hi @paulus244,
Thanks for the update.
It sounds like a potential plugin or theme conflict to me.
Please can you make your way through this document and let me know how you get on?
Hi,
I tried all the things, deactivate all other plugins, standard wp theme etc. But the problem is still there.
the document also refers in particular to problems with not sending messages. But that’s not my problem.
I created a test environnement where I already checked all the things. But with it still send messages when I update a scheduled post.

Hi @paulus244,
Ok, thanks for troubleshooting a bit more.
Let me do some investigation and see if I can find out why this might be happening.

Hi @paulus244,
After some more investigation, it appears that this is standard WordPress behaviour and probably isn’t something that BNFW will be able to change due to its complexity.
Essentially, WordPress re-schedules the post each time it’s updated, even if the time/date hasn’t changed. This causes BNFW to trigger the Post Scheduled notification again. BNFW is essentially operating as it should though.
Not exactly helpful but hope it makes sense.
Hi,
That’s disappointing.
Thanks for investigating the issue.
Kinds regards,
Is it possible to show the post name in the mail notification when using ‘ new tag’ notification?

Hi @paulus244,
Unfortunately not. There’s a very limited amount of information in the database for tags and categories and WordPress doesn’t record how a tag was created – either when creating a post or in the Posts > Tags screen.
