Stop loop from countingceratin post formats

On my home page my loop displays 3 different post formats. I also created another ‘page’ which loops through two different post types (which I know is the wrong use of a ‘page’). I have them both working but the homepage loop seems to be counting the all the posts instead of just the ones it is displaying.

My homepage code looks like this:

So basically because the other 'page' has five posts the 'homepage displays only 3 posts instead of 8. Hope this makes sense. Would greatly appreciate any help.
