    I have code added an htaccess file into my wp-content folder to help protect it for security reasons, but it is blocking my xml sitemap. Below is the code, I’m sure that it prob has something to do with the xml or css directives in this code; however I would like to keep this security measure in place.

    ** I’m also confused but it seems that maybe Google can still see my sitemap, I’m not getting any error ‘codes’ but I am getting the Error loading stylesheet: Parsing an XSLT stylesheet failed in FireFox.

    How would I rework this code to meet both needs? View the sitemap and have the security of that htaccess file??

    order deny,allow
    deny from all
    <files ~ ".(xml|css|jpe?g|png|gif|js|pdf|svg|ttf)$">
    allow from all
    </files>

    ** I tried removin the css portion of code block above but still had the same issue

    THANK YOU!

    <files ~ “.(xml|css|jpe?g|png|gif|js|pdf|svg|ttf)$”>

    from the above line, just remove this:
    xml|

    so it will become like this:
    <files ~ “.(css|jpe?g|png|gif|js|pdf|svg|ttf)$”>

    it should be enough i think 🙂

    btw, also this looks wrong:

    jpe?g <— i don’t think that this question-mark fits there… :-p

    In this instance:

    jpe?g

    The question mark is a quantifier. It means with or without. So for that word it means with or without the letter e

    Thomas@iThemes, didn’t knew that, thanks for the tip!

    trimakasih atas tips nya, coba lihat sitemap web saya mengapa teg blm muncul
