  • I don’t use Jetpack and I never will. Brutal advertising of Jetpack in my dashboard that I can’t close is not done.

The site owner does not have to adjust the site by means of a snippet because this is not the responsibility of the site owner purely because Woocommerce has a partnership with Jetpack. The correct solution is a switch button in the settings of Woocommerce to disable this or inform the user about this form of aggressive advertisement before installation.

This falls under unwanted advertising, simply a violation of the regulations “Article 5 of the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (UCPD)”.

My review still applies. Correct this for the next update.

–> He’s right, the way you act is just not the right way, especially in an OS world.

Also damages the reputation of WordPress.
