# Stop duplicate images from posts

 * I’m wondering if there is a known way to prevent the same image based on file
   name from being published in a post.
 * Something along the lines of..
 * Yesterday I post
    Title: Fun stuff
 * Featured image: funstuff.jpg
 * Content:
 * I found this cool stuff etc etc…
 * 25 posts later the next week
 * An author to my site trys to use the funstuff.jpg to discuss something else.
 * Instead he gets a warning “can’t use funstuff.jpg it’s already used once”
 * How would I go about coding this?

 * Thanks, that tutorial is instructing me how to prevent duplicate images in a 
   post.
 * I’m trying to prevent an image from being used again once it’s been used once
