 * Hi,
 * is there any way to stop tablepress telling wordpress/cache plugins (wp optimize)
   to flush all the cache after saving changes to a table? I would prefer doing
   this to the affected only page(s) manually.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fstop-clearing-cache%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi [@ak71](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ak71/),
 * Thanks for your question!
 * Yes, turning this off is possible by using a plugin filter hook. With this, the
   line
 *     ```wp-block-code
       add_filter( 'tablepress_flush_caching_plugins_caches', '__return_false' );
       ```
 * will turn off the cache clearing.
 * Here’s a simply one-line plugin that you can download, install, and activate
   for this: [https://cdn.tablepress.org/extensions/tablepress-turn-off-cache-purging.zip](https://cdn.tablepress.org/extensions/tablepress-turn-off-cache-purging.zip)
 * Best wishes,
   Tobias
