Stop anything with Cyrillic text

    Is there a way to prevent any form submissions that have Cyrillic text in them? Even with Recaptcha I’m getting dozens of messages a day.

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry you are still having some issues with spam even with reCaptcha installed. I have noticed this happens occasionally on various sites. We have even been the victims of manual spam attacks that can’t really be prevented with most automated spam protection.

    We don’t have anything built into Formidable that can specifically block Cyrillic text, but I would recommend adding common words from spam emails to your WordPress comments blocklist. All form entries are checked against this list.

    There are additional layers of spam protection you can add—Akismet works well for us. I have also heard good things about the anti-spam plugin by Cleantalk.
