How do I stop the constant and annoying notification that appears at the top of every page I open in wp-admin that states

“Is the email you send getting hung up by spam filters? Losing sales and traffic to the junk folder? Because you are using bbPress Notify (No-Spam), you may qualify for SuretyMail for WordPress inbox delivery optimization! Learn more here!”

Simply clicking the X does not stop it from appearing everywhere else. This kind of annoying crap is why I stop using plugins and find alternatives. It’s intrusive and does not make me want to go pro.

    Hi alpinevp,

Thanks for reaching out. Clicking the X should have stopped it. I’ll investigate why it’s not happening.

    Cheers,

I just commented out that particular line in the php. I realize I will need to do that again after you update the plugin but maybe by then you will have solved the issue with it always showing up.

    I can’t replicate the problem.

Clicking the X triggers an ajax call that inserts a row in the options table having key surety_dismissed and value 1. Once that’s inserted, the notice no longer appears.

Can you check your options table for that key?
