Stock Limit Threshold Limit Qty

    Okay so hopefully this will make sense. I am helping rebuild a site with many features. I have the set up almost perfect, except the inventory has issues.
    One of the issues is that sometimes the counts are off-This occurs for many various reasons and I am not going to make a list and bore you.
    The fix that has helped is setting Woo to have a cart out of stock threshold of 1. Now this works perfect to offset a product not actually being on the shelf until the inventory gets corrected.
    The problem is when there are 2 left, there is no way to set a limit at that point preventing a customer from putting the 2 into the cart and checking out.
    Is there a workaround or a plugin I could use that will limit those products at low counts to a single purchase at a specific threshold?

    Hi,
    Yes, you can limit the purchase of a single item to a single purchase for all customers with the Pro version of the plugin.

    Okay just so we are clear, the cart says 2 in stock, but on the shelf/back end I may only have 1 left because of the threshold set. The person could easily add 2 to the cart. But if they get only 1 then the other disappears.
    I can limit the purchase with another threshold? So for example I have 10 in stock they can add as many as they like, then when the number gets to a certain threshold like 3 it would limit their purchase to a single one of that item?
    I know very specific very sorry but I think it’s the limitation of Woocommerce and it’s threshold features.

    You can limit the purchase as I described earlier. However in your most recent example, you asked about applying different limits based on the amount of stock available. This is not possible with any plugin varktech has available.
