Hi, I am seeing an intermittent problem,
the payment completed on the 26th but stock levels only reduced on the 29th

    First Order:
Stock levels reduced: Living Buddha, Living Christ (1201338) 0→-1, 108 Ways to
    Grab My Apples (1192254) 1→0

iPay88 Payment Completed. Transaction Reference Number: T05293XXXXXXXX.

In the mean time a second order came in for one of the books

    Second Order:
Stock levels reduced: Living Buddha, Living Christ (1201338) 1→0, Becoming
    Your Own Therapist (1234831) 1→0

iPay88 Payment Completed. Transaction Reference Number: T053259864621.

This second order updated the stock immediately, but the stock should already have 0 but for some reason didn’t get updated by the first order until an hour after the second order

leaving the stock level as -1 and one unhappy customer

    Is this a known issue?

    Hello @skbarnes ,

    I understand the concern.

If I understand correctly you are using the iPay88 payment gateway to process the payment. Are you using this extension? – iPay88 Gateway

It’s possible that the stock is on hold until the payment was completed from the Gateway. Please create a ticket on WooCommerce.com to get further information and suggestion to troubleshoot the problem.

    Thank you 🙂

    Hi,

it is the ipay88 plugin, although it’s the one downloaded from ipay’s dashboard, which I think is slightly different to the one you linked to. Although I haven’t compared them recently, when I first signed up, the public one had problems, so they directed me to the internal one.

As far as I can see the payment was completed immediately on the 26th, it seems more of an internal woocommerce thing not happening.

anyway I’ll open a ticket. Thanks

    Hello @skbarnes ,

I believe it will be much better to let the plugin developers or the WooCommerce.com support team investigate from inside. We can only assume a possible solution without checking the site. Since this is about a specific order checking the order history can make it easier to identify the problem.

I hope you will get it sorted soon.

    Cheers 🙂
