Stock Goes to Negative Value After Sale with Items Still Available

    After I sell an item that had 6 in stock I should have 5 left in inventory. However that is not the case. The inventory goes from 6 to -1. I have no idea what is the issue but doing research someone mentioned it is a cloudflare issue. I don’t use cloudflare. SiteGround is my host.

    Hi @kyle9296 !

    This looks very much like a conflict! Do you have a staging site available?

    If not please reach out to SiteGround and ask them for one (hosts usually provide those for free)! Once you have that please switch your theme to a default one and see if the issue persists, if it does disable all the plugins except WooCommerce and check again!

    If the issue is not present, start enabling each plugin and placing an order after each activation until the culprit is revealed!

    You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    Note: Conflicts are usually logged so please head to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and check whether there are any error logs there! Something like a critical error should have some clues.

    If your host’s offer is limited, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

    Any suggestions on what to turn off in an attempt to solve it on a live site?

    What we can do to narrow the field is check for any fatal errors related to any product installed on your site. Please check for any fatal errors under your page WooCommerce → Status → Logs and share with us any recent Fatal Errors listed there.

    Also, to give us some insight, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    That’s quite odd, the best will be to reach out to SiteGround support to know if there’s a way to configure the settings so that it does not conflict with the WooCommerce stock/inventory.
