    I updated the plugin but it doesnt import to either facebook events or EventOn. (The import process happens, but nothing shows up.) I tried with these events:

    Sorry for issue, Due to recent changes by Facebook there are not providing Event API to user so plugin stopped working. We have updated plugin so you can import Event using Facebook Page ID. Please update plugin.

    Import By Event ID and Import By Group or private event is not working.

    We are trying to get resolution but as Facebook has stopped providing some data so not sure about estimated time.

    Also If you have new app ID it will not work.

    It works in both free and paid version, make sure you have old App ID & Key.

    – We are able to get working Import using Facebook Page ID..
    – Import by Event ID, Group and private event is not working.
    – No need to authorize Facebook in plugin
    – Use old app ID & Key

    I cannot get this to work in the free version – when I switch to “Import by Facebook Page” the space to enter the Page ID is not available and it says “Available in Pro.”

    Sorry for trouble,Import by page ID is only available in PRO can’t import by page using Free version of plugin.

    Sorry for issue, Recently Facebook has updated API and stopped providing event data. So no plugin can take event data from Facebook.

    Recently Facebook has again restricted API for all apps so Facebook Event import will not work due to issue at Facebook end. We are not able to Import Event by Facebook Page also.

    We are keeping close watch on it, as soon as Facebook gives access we will make sure plugin works fine.

    They said they will enable back updated API and new process soon. No exact timeline.


    Just got this message from facebook. I guess i have to submit for review and hope for the best?

    The Facebook App Review process and API permissions model have been updated. Learn more.
    In order to maintain your current API access, your app will need to be submitted for review by August 1, 2018. If your app is not submitted for review, you will lose access to these permissions and features.
    The Facebook Platform APIs have been updated with these changes. Please review the FAQ to ensure you request the correct permissions and features with your app review submission.
    If access to the permissions and features is approved, the app may need to be associated to a verified business to complete App Review.


    Is there any way to import events at this time? Has anyone had any success with the FaceBook API review? I submitted my review earlier this week. I am not sure if I did it correctly. I will post if I hear back from FaceBook.

    My site is and I use the events on a campus events page.

    I hope to find a solution before classes start again in August.

    I have not submitted my app review yet because i hav no clue what to do and i do not want to do it wrong.

    I was hoping on some help here from te developers on what settings to use during the submit of the review.

    Well, I didn’t know what to do, but I followed the directions at the site as best I could. I’m the guinea pig I guess…I’ll keep you updated if/when I hear back.



    Which functions did you choose for app review? I just use events from Facebook pages but I don’t know what to choose for review. We don’t import or publish any other informations of Facebook users …
