Support » Plugin: YITH Pre-Order for WooCommerce » Still showing stock quantity for pre-order items

I have the same problem as in this thread, however adding the custom code to my code snippets didn’t solve the problem for me. It is only items which are available for pre-order which are showing the stock quantity available. All other items have quantity hidden as in woocommerce settings / products / inventory / stock display format i have selected “never show quantity remaining in stock”.

    Hi @aarondeee,

I have tested the code and it works correctly. The code simply hides the stock status for the pre-order products.
Maybe your theme displays the stock status in a different way? Maybe it does not use the “woocommerce_get_stock_html” filter. Have you tried with a default WordPress theme?

Thanks, Carlos. Strange though, that the stock count is never displayed unless it is a pre-order product. So, am i not right in that it must be the pre-order plugin which activates that text to be displayed? I am using checkoutWC for checkout.

Hi @aarondeee, the products that are out of stock will appear in the text “Out of stock”, and if the product has stock the amount that has stock will appear if the configuration allows it. Have you tried using a WordPress theme by default?
