Just checking back. There still seems to be a conflict with afterthedeadline plugin now with jetpack.

Can’t enter text in main content block set up

The Jetpack developers never responded to my request for assistance. Please try the latest version of GCB as it resolved a similar issue, maybe it will resolve your issue too?
