# Still Receiving Render Blocking

    Im trying to eliminate render blocking on my site. I activated your plugin
   and enabled Javascript options and CSS options but google is telling me I still
   have 7 blocking scripts and 7 blocking css.

    multiple things could be going on; 1. AO only aggregates local
   CSS/JS, so e.g. google fonts’ CSS will always stay render blocking. 2. regarding
   CSS specifically, by default it’s inserted in the head-tag where Google indeed
   considers it render blocking, [have a look at the FAQ](https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/faq/)
   to see how you can solve that. 3. in case you enabled the “force JS into head”-
   setting, JS will also be blocking, so only enable that if you must.
