Still possible to assign 'req-role' to a download?

Hi, absolutely good news about the re-build of this amazing plugin and finally not being abandoned by the author! I wanted to test the new version in a project but, for the moment, I miss one very interesting functionality from the old one. In the old version, besides defining a download as ‘members-only’, you could asign a required user role using a custom field, ‘req-role’. Is still possible to use that in the new version?
