• Hello,

    I am still having issues running Wordfence scan, having went through all your online suggestions and contacted my hosting provider to increase the maximum execution time. I have a suspicion its a Wordfence issue since every time I run a scan it hangs at a different points during the scan (e.g. at “6000 file indexed” or at “analyzed 500 files”, etc). Please let me know what I can do to get it to scan properly.

    Please make sure you have tried suggestions mentioned on “Scan Troubleshooting” guide, if none of these helped, then please kill any running scan at the moment and make sure “debug mode” is enabled then run a new scan. When it hangs, send a scan activity log to “alaa [at] wordfence [dot] com”. I’ll take a look on this report and let you know my findings. Also, sending a diagnostics report from (Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics) to the same email address will be helpful.

    I’m following up on old threads that might be missed (sorry for that) and I wanted to know if you still having this issue?

    If so, according to the latest activity report I got, the maximum execution is set to 400, please follow this guide to adjust the maximum execution time and recheck this issue.
