    specifically I wanted to suggest to :

    1) make an option to choose, that instead of files, it saved in transients, like this plugin does:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/menu-cache/ (i don’t use that plugin, because it’s abandoned, so I want to switch to your plugin)

    2) also, instead of fopen, fwrite and etc, please just use file_get_contents or file_put_contents commands of php.
