OK i think i must reduce the number of open file again that ZipArchie uses.

The other Problem is the Message of the job restart. For that you can only try to split the job or find out with file brings the job to break.

Sorry if my addition to this thread caused any confusion, but I understand your reply. My backups are now working except for the following 2 errors:
[02-Mar-2013 10:33:02] ERROR: Can not add “wp-content/uploads/2012/07/” to zip archive!
[02-Mar-2013 10:33:02] ERROR: ZipArchive returns status: (ER_DELETED) Entry has been deleted

    Thanks very much Daniel!

Let me know if there is anything I can do. Worked great previously!

Update: switched to Tar GZip and it worked perfectly, including upload to S3. Thanks!

Glad it works. Thank you for flying with BackWPup. 🙂

    getting an error:
[ERROR} Second Prozess is running, bcause old job runs! Start type is start

    backWPup version is 2.1.15

This just started to show up. Not sure why?

Getting Error: Signal 15 is sent to script!
After updating to BackWPup Version 3.0.10
Tried to switch to Tar GZip but still same error …

    any feedback on this?

    Thank you

I keep getting this error message and am not sure what to do. Can anyone help? Thank you!
Error message: ERROR: ZipArchive returns status: (ER_DELETED) Entry has been deleted

I think the key is to keep your backup list as small as possible. I kept getting the ‘Signal 15’ error when I was backing up all my site files, despite changing the settings as have been recommended elsewhere. However, when I split the single job up into 3 separate backup jobs (for the theme files and root folder files, for the uploads, and for the plugins) all worked ok. It means you have 3 scheduled jobs (4 including the database) to worry about, and you need to run them all close to one another to avoid getting out of sync, but at least it works.
