Installed this plugin a couple of weeks ago because a client’s website suddenly gave me the message “Brute-force attack detected”. I recently got this message again, how can this be? What’s wrong?

I have also contacted my Webhosting company and they said that this plugin probably works fine but that this plugin can block but not prevent brute force attacks.
