[Resolved] Still being set by WP Config

  • I’m using the plugin to make a super-secret new website. Only problem is that the <title> tag is still being set by WordPress. Is there a way to override that? I’m going to start poking around in the code.

Summary: It’d be great to have a way to set the <title> tag for the splash page in the plugin config.

    Thanks!

  • This can be changed in the WordPress settings, under Settings -> General.

This is why its not an option in the plugin. Don’t want to clutter it up with options that exist elsewhere 😉

My argument for having that option in the plugin, in my case anyway, we were building a new website that needed to be kept under wraps. The <title> for the site we were designing had the title in it, and on the under construction page, we needed it to have a different title so that visitors wouldn’t know what we’re up to.
