Sticky posts disappear from blog page

    Hey everyone,

    I’m trying to sticky post to my homepage because my theme has a functionality where sticky posts become a tiled gallery that looks really cool! There are three posts stickied to the homepage right now.

    My problem is that when I make a post sticky it disappears from the blog page! I’m using the free version of the theme so I can’t get support from the theme developer.

    My homepage is a static page.

    I would really appreciate any help!

    Normally, if your home page was set up to show your most recent posts, then that’s what sticky posts do: they just move them to the top of the page. They don’t duplicate them.

    Is the home page a ‘Page’ with static content, and not your recent posts? If so, you might want to ask about this on the support page for your theme.

    Hey Bill,

    Thanks for your reply. I updated my original post to reflect that my homepage is a static page. I will make a similar post on the support page for my theme but if anyone else has information please feel free to post it here 🙂

    Thanks for clarifying that. It does seem like something specific to the theme, but I could be wrong about that. Hope you get a reply on the theme forum.
