Sticky posts are not staying on top

  • I have a blog at http://www.simplemoneyknowhow.com and I recently added a post to my blog and marked it sticky. I also set the post in all my categories. The post was on top in each category (as I wanted it).

I then Added another post unter the Web Traffic category. When I published the post and went to my site, the sticky post was not on top in the Web Traffic category.

    Why is this happening?

Aren’t all sticky posts suppose to stay on top even when a non-sticky post is added?

    Thanks

  • AFAIK, the ‘sticky’ setting is only honored by default in the blog, not in category and archives.

To have sticky posts in those templates, the template must be recoded.
