# sticky post problem

 * I’m trying to make one of my posts a sticky. I check the “sticky box”, yet it
   doesn’t seem to work. Every time I write a new post it pushes the sticky post
   down, as though it wasn’t a sticky at all. Suggestions?

   puch ur sticky posts down, don’t check on sticky box.

 * From what I understand, WP 2.7 doesn’t need a plugin for stickys. So why isn’t

 * Does your theme do anything special in the Loop? A theme can ignore sticky posts,
   depending on how exactly it works. A properly written theme will handle them 
   correctly.
 * Try the default theme. Are they still sticky when using that? If so, then your
   theme is somehow causing the issue.

 * What do you mean loop? How can I check the loop? And what exactly am I looking
   for there?
