• Greetings!

First of all I would like to thank you for making available for free a plugin with such features and to encourage you to keep on. Nowadays, the majority of developers have forgotten the term “Free” & “Open source”!

Anyway, the reason I’m writing this post is to ask you as the title suggests the following 2 questions:

    a) If the plugin allows the user to implement sticky (floating) functionality, so that whenever the end-user scrolls down to browse the webpage the menu follows.

    b) If the plugin gives the option to user to place the icons above the text links and not next to them.

Would really appreciate if you could reply, since those two “elements” are very important for the project I’m currently working on.

P.S. I will rate this plugin for sure but firstly I need to spent more time with it to provide appropriate feedback!

Thank you in advance, keep it up!

    Hi DrHell,

    Glad you like it 🙂

There’s no native sticky menu functionality, but its been mentioned before and I believe there’s a plugin (or multiple ones) which you can install which will give you a sticky menu. I haven’t any of those plugins myself so I can’t comment on how well they work.

Icons above menu items would be a bit more tricky, it’s not possible just by editing the CSS – I would need to change the output of the menu itself. That would add a bunch of extra markup that would only ever be needed if you wanted icons above the text.

If it gets requested again I will take another look, but at the moment adding the functionality would mean adding all that extra markup to everyones menu, even if only a minority of people actually want icons above text.

    Regards,
    Tom
