Sticky header not working

    I’ve attempted to setup a sticky header following your exact tutorial 3 times and all times have failed… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRxSQzrBsxI

    I have applied the exact settings as per your tutorial video above.

    I cannot show you the website as it’s running locally but trust me my settings are 1 to 1 with yours in the tutorial.

    Has this been testing on the latest version of WordPress?

    Hi! The settings in the video you showed are correct.
    If you followed it but it didn’t work, it could be conflict with your current setup.
    Please try to test on Hello theme or Woostify theme, disabled all the plugins except for Elementor.

    The plugins I have installed are as follows:

    Boostify Header Footer Builder – Version 1.2.0
    Elementor (free) – Version 3.0.13
    WP Event Manager – Version 3.1.17

    I will try with one of those themes you mentioned.

    Update!

    OK so turns out it didn’t like OceanWP Theme. It’s unfortunate considering its one of the most popular themes used today.

    Would you know of any workaround which would enable this to work with OceanWP themes?

    In this case, you need to intergrade with this theme manually https://github.com/woostify/boostify-header-footer-builder/wiki/Support-Boostify-Header-Footer-for-your-theme

    Ok so I have applied those code changes to my themes function.php and header.php file however it didn’t seem to do anything.. Is my code in the correct places in those files?

    Your code is not correct. I recommend you contact the theme author, they will give you the instruction or maybe they could consider supporting our plugin by default.

    Hmm. I copied the code from your github page though.
    Don’t I just need to include those lines of code?

    Is the code wrong or the placement within those files?
    If placement where should it go, can you be more detailed?

    Not really, the position and the code need to be used differently depends on the theme.

    Ok thanks for your help.

    If I was to email my themes function.php and header.php file would it possible you could amend them? I understand it may be a big ask though it would be much appreciated.

    I don’t understand your idea but the integration should be done from the theme.
    So it’s better to contact the theme author and ask them to do the compatibility

    I was editing my current theme files as explained in your notes on Github.
