It’s not really clear to me what the problem is. Would you be able to share a link to your site so I can see it?
I have seen the same issue with many other plugins that rely on the jquery sticky method (I believe yours does too?).
Check out any one of these websites on an ipad, (some may be using some other plugins, but it’s the exact same issue. Once the scroll passes the “sticky point” and continues scrolling… the menu disappears, and only reappears when scrolling has stopped.

Even on techcrunch!

On apple.com, they must be using some other method, because it works on all platforms that I’ve checked:

OK I see what you mean now, and it’s somewhat expected behavior, or at least “normal”; things staying out of view just until the scrolling stops, then it appears again. This is basically becaus my plugin uses a method that replaces the original element with a new, sticky one. But since there’s a bit of Javascript involved, the delay shows up.
The reason why it works on the Apple site (I assume you mean the sidebar on the right) is because that’s a different method — the element is not replaced, but is made sticky directly.
I don’t want to get too technical though…..
Point being, what you see, is more of an iPad (in)compatibility issue than a bug. Having said that, I’m currently working on a new version of the plugin that will use a completely different method, and should work much better, without the delay you’re seeing. I’m not sure when this version will be ready for release, but I’m aiming for sometime before the end of the year.
Thanks for the detailed explanation, and of course thanks for the plugin.
Glad to know the issue may be solved/addressed in a future release. Looking forward to it.
Thanks Again!!
