• WARNING: Total Newbie Here!

Is there a way to ‘stick’ a post to the top of the view when you click on a category? In other words, so that every time someone clicks on the category link the sticky post is at the top?

Like when you stick a post to the top of the blog, but different…

    thanks!

  • The only options involve creating multiple Loop templates in your category templates.

    ok, that’s too hard.

What I am trying to do is make it so that when someone clicks on this menu item (it could be a page or a category, I don’t care) there is some text that is always at the top, but with posts being added underneath it.

I already have a static home page
I already have a blog page

    Any ideas?
    I am using twenty-ten 1.2

Thanks for your quick answer btw!

Don’t edit the Twenty Ten theme. Your changes will be over-written the next time you upgrade WordPress. For this reason, it is recommended that you consider creating a child theme for your customisations. Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.
