 * Hi guys
 * I’ve been tearing my hair out of the last few days trying to fix this problem
   and the issue persists. Whenever the customer selects an option from within the
   native woocommerce dropdown on a variable product and they then select the dropdown
   again to go back to a previous option, the first option and the other option
   are already selected and you can’t go back to selecting the first one? Does anyone
   know how this could be fixed?

 * I did manage to resolve this by removing the default option in WooCommerce however
   the client doesn’t want this.
 * Many thanks in advance,
    Josh

 * Hi there Josh,
 * Thank you for including the screenshot of what you are referring to, and the
   URL to the product on the site. I took a look and do see what you are talking
   about there. However it appears there is some custom styling being applied that
   is quite different from the default WooCommerce plugin styling and behavior.
   With the core WooCommerce plugin and the default [Storefront](https://woocommerce.com/storefront/)
   plugin, variable product options/dropdowns generally appear and behave as below:
 * ⌊variable options⌉⌊variable options⌉

 * In order to narrow down what is causing that on your site, please temporarily
   switch your theme back to [Storefront](https://woocommerce.com/storefront/?aff=10486&cid=1131038)
   and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce, then check to see if the issue
   is fixed. If it is, then you can switch your theme back and reactivate plugins
   one-by-one until you find the one that is causing the issue.
 * You can read about testing for conflicts in our documentation here:
    [https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/](https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/)
 * I hope that helps!

 * Thank you! It turns out it was a conflict with the Ultimate Member plugin.
